To  continue to cook and serve tasty meals 
for their guests.

The Eco Resort Restaurant Beachfront Dining Room situated on the beach front serve full buffet  dining for Breakfast and Dinner.

The Eco Resort has a beach front  cafe & lagoon bar that serves a range of snacks and beverages including tea, coffee and alcoholic beverages.

The cafe also serves a range of seafood, and a large selection of salads, sandwiches & burgers and also caters for dietary requirements including vegetarian and gluten free.

The Eco Resort caters for Weddings, Conferences & Honeymoons as well as guests going on day trips to the island for snorkeling &
diving or for a relaxing holiday break.

Great Barrier Reef Australia

The Eco Resort is located on the southernmost coral cay of the Great Barrier Reef, in Australia. 

The island lies 46 nautical miles north east of Bundaberg, Queensland., Australia. Covering an area of approximately 45 hectares.

The Island where the Eco Resort is located is within the ‘Green Zone’ of the Great Barrier Reef  Marine Park, which means
 it has the highest classification designated by the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority..

Protecting the biodiversity of the Great Barrier Reef  by protecting important breeding and nursery  areas such as sea grass beds, mangrove communities, deep water shoals and reefs, as such it is rich in marine wild life.

The Eco Resort island is renowned for its scuba diving and snorkeling, as it is located far off shore  from the mainland, at the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef there is excellent water clarity making it perfect for anyone wanting to go snorkeling or scuba diving & to see a vast array of sea life.

Sea Life and Sea Birds

The waters surrounding the island are particularly rich in sea-life due to the total ban on fishing or  taking anything from the surrounding waters. 

Manta Rays are abundant, The Great Barrier Reef is also one of the most important sea turtle habitats in the world, with this Eco island making up a very important part of the habitat for sea turtles including both the green and also loggerhead turtles.

The Speckled Carpet Shark is often observed in the waters around the island.

The coral cay island is a haven for over fifty species of tropical seabirds and wading birds.

There is an abundance of birds that visit the island and also many different species of sea birds that nest on the island.

The seabirds that nest on the Island include:

• Brown booby
• Lesser frigate bird
• Terns: black-naped, bridled, crested, roseate, sooty
• Black noddy
• Red-tailed tropic bird
• Silver gull
• Wedge-tailed shear water
• Eastern reef egret
• Roanna
